Located in the historic industrial city of Lowell, 25 miles northwest of Boston; the University of Massachusetts Lowell offers nearly 12,000 students more than 120 degree choices, internships, bachelor’s to master’s programs and doctoral studies as well as professional certificates in the Arts, Humanities and Sciences; Education; Engineering; Health and Environment; and Management.
The Music Department in the College of Arts and Sciences offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Its mission is to provide students with a superior music education that will prepare them for meaningful careers in the profession.
