The University of Massachusetts Lowell, Department of Biological Sciences is accepting applications to teach a portion of the freshmen majors general biology course (Principles of Biology) and the accompanying laboratory (Experimental Biology) for fall semester. Duties include lectures for the biochemistry and biotechnology section of the lecture course, coordination if all lab sections including delivering selected exercises, and supervising a graduate assistant. The position is part time and non-benefited. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • BS or MS in biology or related field. • College teaching experience preferred, especially general biology. • Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills. • Demonstrated ability interacting with diverse populations.
