Scholarly Interests

Science and math education, science and math assessment, engineering and design thinking and assessment, STEM curriculum development, and museums and informal science learning environments, and use of technology as a teaching and learning tool.

Bio Sketch

Dr. Scriber-MacLean has been at UMass Lowell for several years as a lecturer and visiting professor in science and math education in the Curriculum and Instruction program.  She is Co-PI on two NSF grants (iCode and iSense) with Fred Martin in computer science, and is doing research in design thinking with Doug Prime in the Future Engineers Center.
